3. Eligibility and Account Creation

3.1. Parent Users

To create an account as a Parent User, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your password secure

3.2. Child Users

Child Users may only access the Service with the permission and under the supervision of a Parent User. The Parent User is responsible for:

• Providing consent for the Child User to use the Service
• Supervising the Child User’s activities on the Service
• Ensuring the Child User complies with these Terms

3.3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Parent is an educational platform that allows parents to simulate credit card experiences for their children. The Service includes features such as:

• Virtual credit card creation and management
• Credit request and approval system
• Task assignment and verification
• Balance tracking

5. Financial Simulation Disclaimer

5.1. Educational Purpose

The Service is provided for educational purposes only. The virtual credit cards and balances are simulations intended to teach financial responsibility and do not represent actual financial instruments or legal obligations.

5.2. No Real Credit Extended

Parent does not extend credit, issue credit cards, or provide banking services. Any funds exchanged between Parent Users and Child Users occur outside of the Service and are the sole responsibility of the Parent User.

5.3. No Financial Advice

The Service does not provide financial advice. The educational content and features are not a substitute for professional financial guidance.

6. User Conduct

6.1. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service

6.2. Parent User Responsibilities

Parent Users agree to:

• Provide accurate information about themselves and their Child Users
• Supervise their Child Users’ use of the Service
• Use the Service as an educational tool
• Consider their Child Users’ best interests when using the Service

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. Our Intellectual Property

The Service and its Content, features, and functionality are owned by Parent and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Service without our prior written consent.

7.2. Your Content

You retain all rights to any Content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service. By submitting Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such Content in connection with providing and promoting the Service.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARENT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Parent and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1. Informal Resolution

If you have a dispute with Parent, you agree to contact us first and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

15.2. Arbitration

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and Parent agree to resolve any dispute through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association’s rules.

15.3. Exceptions

The arbitration agreement does not preclude you from bringing issues to the attention of federal, state, or local agencies or from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

15.4. Class Action Waiver

You agree that any proceedings to resolve disputes will be conducted on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after the posting of modified Terms constitutes your agreement to the changes.

17. General Provisions

17.1. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Parent regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

17.2. Waiver

No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

17.3. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.

17.4. Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without the prior written consent of Parent. Parent may assign these Terms without restriction.
