Activity Tracking
Monitoring your child’s financial activity is a key part of the Parent.credit experience. The platform provides detailed tracking to help you understand credit usage, task completion habits, and overall financial behavior.
Viewing Activity History
Access card activity
From your dashboard, find the card you want to monitor and click the "View activity" button. This takes you to a detailed activity view that shows all actions related to the card.

Activity Icons
- Green checkmark (✓): Indicates approval actions, such as approved credit requests or task approvals.
- Yellow plus (+): Indicates creation actions, such as new credit requests or completed tasks
Filter and search activity
You can narrow down the activity history by applying filters for date ranges, activity types, or specific amounts. This helps you focus on particular aspects of your child's financial behavior.

Pro Tip
Use the filter function to identify patterns in your child's financial behavior. For example, filtering by ‘Credit request’ can reveal what types of purchases they frequently make, while filtering by ‘Task payment’ can highlight their work and repayment patterns.
Transaction History
View transaction details
The "Payment history" tab provides a detailed record of all financial transactions on the card, including credit approvals and task payments. This chronological view helps you track your child's spending and repayment habits over time.

Teaching Opportunity
Review the transaction history with your child regularly to help them understand the connection between borrowing (credit approval) and repayment (task payments). This reinforces the concept of financial responsibility and helps them build good money management habits.
Export transaction data
For more detailed analysis or record-keeping, you can export the transaction history to a spreadsheet format. This helps you track your child’s financial activity over time or generate custom reports.

Monitoring Credit Usage
Track credit utilization
Parent.credit makes it easy to monitor how much of the available credit your child is using. This helps you understand their spending patterns and credit management skills.

Pro Tip
Use credit utilization percentage as a teaching tool. In real-world credit scoring, lower utilization is generally better for credit health. This is a great opportunity to explain this concept to your child.
Review spending patterns
By examining your child's credit requests over time, you can identify patterns in their spending behavior. This insight helps you guide them toward making more thoughtful financial decisions.
